As the Makers Empire 3D design app needs to run on your devicerather than being browser-based, it cannot be accessed directly viayour browser. Soclicking a Makers Empire link from the Polar Cloud instead opensup a new window to the Makers Empire website – from that websiteyou, or your students, will need to download and install the MakersEmpire 3D design app on a supported device in order to use it.Figure 6.31 shows the sort of Makers Empire landing screen youmay see if you click on the Makers Empire tile on the Polar Cloud“DESIGN” screen, or on a Makers Empire logo on a Polar Cloudobject (an object saved directly from Makers Empire; see Section6.2.3).
Note that teachers with a Makers Empire subscription can loginto their Teacher Dashboard (where they may perform operationssuch as exporting to the Polar Cloud or downloading students’Makers Empire objects) from the Makers Empire website homepage; see the LOGIN tab towards the upper right of Figure6.31.
