The reset switch is recessed and located on the bottom of the gSC10. You'll need something like a paper clip to press it.
- A single press and release will reset the gSC10's IP address to DHCP and reset the WiFi configuration to factory default
- A single press and hold for 15 seconds will reset the programming back to default
- Pressing the reset button while powering up the gSC10 will reset the programming and core module version back to factory default
The basic steps of adding TV Channel favorites in Configurator are:
- Configure the IR Device by selecting the appropriate tuning type, minimumdigits, and pre- and post-tune commands as necessary.
- Configure the TV Channel favorites on the Content tab by entering thechannel numbers for the appropriate tuning type.
- Add a TV Channel Favorites control to a custom interface and connect it tothe appropriate IR Device.

Using g!Tools, click on the Network Manager tab. A scan will automatically start the first time that you click on this tab after opening g!Tools. Select your system controller from the list and click on the Configure IP button. You can assign a static IP address here.

You have a couple of options:
- If you were only using the audio output for doorbell we suggest the Niles DBI-2.
- If you were using it for additional audio functions then the g1 will have to be included in the system.

In a video area, the g1 as an extender can provide OSD, user interface and additional serial and IR ports. Otherwise Xantech XLIP and Global Cache are both supported.
Serial bricks will not transmit 115200, XLIP will. Global Cache, g1, and XLIP are limited to 3 wire RS-232 connections.
