Novell GroupWise backups (DS-MLR)
You can perform message-level backups on Novell GroupWise and restore email data at the message level to the original location or an alternate location.
This following matrix lists the objects that DS-MLR can back up and restore for Novell GroupWise.
•Active Support means that DS-MLR can back up or restore this type of email object.
•Not Supported means that DS-MLR does not support this type of email object.

1 Novell GroupWise supports email backup and restore if the body size is no more than 64K (kilobytes).
Limitations
The following limitations apply when you are backing up or restoring Novell GroupWise data using DS-MLR:
•DS-MLR can only back up Novell GroupWise folders that contain up to 65535 email messages. This number may vary in different versions of Novell GroupWise. If a folder exceeds this number, the folder is backed up, but items inside it are not.
•DS-MLR currently supports email messages whose body size is not more than 64K.
DS-MLR registry keys for Novell GroupWise
The following table lists the registry keys that apply only to a Novell Groupwise email server and describes how each registry key affects the operation of DS-MLR.
NOTE: An asterisk (*) indicates that the registry key is not installed by default and can only be added manually.
